Landstar gave away a new truck during the Landstar All-Star Truck Giveaway powered by Comdata. Independent Landstar Million Mile Safe Driver and Roadstar® Cecilia Logan was the lucky winner of the 2020 Kenworth T680, featuring a fuel efficient PCCAR MX-13 engine, PACCAR transmission and PACCAR drive axles. The random drawing and giveaway was the highlight of the 8th Annual Landstar BCO All-Star Celebration held July 1-3 in Savannah, Georgia. Each year, Landstar gives away a truck, including all registration fees and taxes, to one of its Million Mile Safe Driver independent owner-operators.

Lisa D. Nestor and her team at the Landstar JRG Agency (STI) were selected as the Landstar Safety Officer for November 2019. Lisa and her staff have booked more than 2.1M Landstar BCO miles in the last 12 months with no preventable accidents! Landstar JRG's track/trace team verifies all pick up/deliveries and require all drivers to use GPS tracking either via ELD or the Landstar Connect App. Her team certainly displays 100% commitment to Landstar's safety culture, always participating in the monthly safety calls, attending safety meetings and organizing M.U.S.T visits with customers!

Landstar JRG Agency attended BCO Appreciation Days in Fort Worth on February 17-18, 2020. This two day event included informative meetings, breakout sessions, LCAPP vendors, Agent Expo, delicious food and great door prizes. We spent time visiting with BCOs, talking about lanes, rates and the current market. It was GREAT meeting new friends and seeing faces we love!
